Caitie and Charlie
I’m thrilled that you are here with us!
Hi there! I am Caitie – Charlie’s mom. The brains behind Charlie Ryan Roams. This blog is for every family who has a desire to travel, and is embarking on the adventures with a little family.
As a kid, my parents were HUGE on traveling. They threw my brother and I into the car and drove us to as many national parks as possible. Once Charlie was born, I knew I wanted her to love travel and the outdoors as much as her dad and I did.
My husband, Mike, and I grew up in New Orleans, and in 2018 I convinced him to do something and pick up and move to Seattle. It was going to be a short lived adventure, but we fell in love with the PNW, bought a house up north, and have no plans on leaving this beautiful area! Over the last year, I knew we wanted to increase our travels, and now I am currently working as a full time remote physical therapist (I know – very strange!). Mike also works remote which gives us some flexibility to travel the PNW and beyond!
My goal is to share our adventures and mishaps in hopes that we can inspire other families to live out their dreams of travel! I will give you all the tips and tricks that we learn along the way and hopefully show you the incredible gems we find while traveling!
